Velvet City Sound is based in Atlanta, Georgia and is always up for a road trip! We’ve performed in Birmingham, Columbia, Greenville, Knoxville, Charleston, and other cities across the southeastern United States.

No. We include every piece of equipment that we will need! This includes wireless microphones, lapel microphones, speakers, lights, you name it. This is one thing that sets us apart from others in the industry—our packages are truly all-inclusive!

We do not require a stage, but they really take events to the next level! So if you want to ask your venue about renting one, we’d be happy to offer size recommendations.

No. Although some of the most popular and most requested songs are on our song list, we can learn new songs upon request!

Yes! When you book VCS, you’ll get access to a thorough questionnaire that gives you the opportunity to customize music selections, genres, and more!

Of course! This comes standard when booking VCS. In some cases, we’re able to have two MCs to make it even more fun!

Yes! We plan ahead for band breaks and will be sure that music is playing at all times to keep the party going.

We offer a 3-piece band to start, which includes guitar/male vocals, bass guitar, and drums. From there we can add keys, female vocals, saxophone, trumpet, and even fiddle! Let us know if you have any specific instrumentation requests at the time of booking!

We are flexible and accept Credit Cards, ACH Transfers, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and Check.

Your final price depends primarily on the band size that you choose. We start at 3-piece and can expand up to 12-piece! Other factors determining price include total coverage time, travel, and any event-specific special requests.
Due to the unique nature of each event, we need to gather some details before we can provide an accurate price.

We require 20% down to secure VCS for your date. Your final balance is due 2 weeks before your event.

VCS can perform at virtually any event! We typically play weddings, corporate events, and private parties. We also enjoy playing festivals, community events, non-profit fundraisers, college/university events. We recently performed at a 20s-themed Gala for an animal rescue organization, and it was a blast!

Yes! We can provide music for your Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception/Dance Party! We LOVE playing weddings and are familiar with the subtleties that make for a special day!
